The H’mông people are one of the largest ethnic minority groups in Vietnam, primarily liv-ing in the mountainous regions of the North, such as Hà Giang, Lào Cai, Yên Bái, and Sơn La.Their way of life is closely connected to nature, and they have a rich cultural heritage, especial- ly reflected in their traditional clothing. H’mông attire is not just everyday wear but a cultural symbol that embodies their spiritualbeliefs and aesthetic values through intricate embroidery and design. Each outfit tells a unique story, with carefully chosen colors, patterns, and materials carrying deep meanings. Made from linen fabric, H’mông clothing features embroidered motifs that hold spiritual signifi cance, representing their religious beliefs, connection with nature, and wishes for peace and happiness. Common patterns include geometric shapes like diamonds and squares, as well as stylized depictions of trees and flowers.
