3D Short Film – JACK AND JAY
THE STORY
The story is about two brothers, 5-year-old Jack and 4-year-old Jay whose imagining a journey to find treasure on a floating islands.
Jack is the captain who guides Jay through many new lands, both overcoming many obstacles.
But Jay is always naughty and not serious in the game, which makes Jack feel
very annoying and frustrating. When the two children discovered the treasure chest, Jack pushed his brother away and wanted to open it alone, while Jay sat sadly drawing in the sand about his brothers in a corner.
Unfortunately for Jack, he couldn't open it because the chest was very heavy.
In the end, Jack reconsidered himself and began to reconcile with Jay, they open the treasure together. Back in the real world, in the garden where they play pirates roleplay, the treasure they found was 2 pirate movie tickets which Jack and Jay both love it.
INSPIRATION
Most children have an innocent childhood. When we were young, we also played pretend roleplay and imagined ourselves in another world: Pretend to be a superhero fight with aliens to protects the Earth, or a princess instead of getting marry by the prince, she will become a warrior and fight with dragon . Children's minds are very creative and unique.
We took inspiration from Upin and Ipin in the series The Rain and The Seven Seas, the movie about Upin and Ipin tired of staying indoors only when it rained outside, they were finally looking for fun in the bathroom by bouncing on a crew while imagining themselves saved Princess Mei Mei from Captain Jarjit and his pirates in the middle of the ocean.
